Are you in control? Let's find out.
Think of a routine that you participate in daily. In this routine, you should be in control 100% of the time without fail. Correct? This could just a simple task.
Like pouring a cup of coffee.
All actions can be manipulated or even distracted. I will give you the strongest examples. Such distractions could be other people; family members, friends or co-workers, your phone, the tv, or even the radio.

None of us really consider the distractions we encounter through out the day. A simple word could really take you off grid and carry you somewhere else.
Getting distracted can happen rather fast.
I have done some experimenting with my brain and its operating system lately. I have been trying to discover how I designed my brain to think the way that it does.
I had recently gone through one of thee worst depressive episodes of my life. I think it’s because I began to face my demons. I began to put myself first above all of the bullshit. I was having to face every open wound I had created.
I came out successful. Of course, forgiving others and apologizing for your own wrongs will shake off some weight. Doing this, I realized that there is a way to positively control our own human emotions and put logic and visualization into perfect synchronization to create a better life for ourselves and those in it.

I cannot tell you how uplifting and spiritually balanced you will feel after you do this. Being one with your vessel is hard work. How ever becoming the master of your thoughts is seriously hard work. But it's worth it. (*)
The next coming lines are from my perspective and are not meant to be taken harshly.
Step into this with an open mind.
If you are chronically depressed or are facing near-death thoughts, I want you to know that I, myself and several others understand what you may be going through. I want to share my story with you and maybe just see if this can help you too.
The majority of us feel that we are losing our minds every day. More emotional beings, known more as 'empaths' these days, seem to be taking on 'healing' roles in their relationships. Many pride on being the light and fire that makes this world spin a different way. Empaths fuel the every growing and prospering fires with love.
Other people, 'non-empathetic' beings, tend to try put fires out. They even tend to be our closest loved ones.
It hurts when anyone dims your light. The dimmer you are, the more vulnerable you are.

Everyone is easily manipulated.
At least, this is the category of a specific type of person you have become. Right?
Empathy is just a word. It is an idea that was planted in your brain. It being no different than wondering if cat really does just mean dog. Yes, empathy to us is real. It is described to us as we know as being a very emotionally involved person; compassion, loving, love healing. It is a word used in our vocabulary to identify this “type” of person.
Empathy is just another idea that is forcing you to feel like you belong to a category of people.
Empaths are typically people that may have suffered from trauma(s). Even in early childhood. We sometimes call these experiences “awakenings.” You essentially wake up from a not so good experience. ANYONE can experience life altering experiences.
It is important to know that such experiences can create a human emotion that we all hate most.
Fear.

We all know that fear is the ultimate killer. What do I mean? Fear will drown you and keep you off your brains grid. It is the ultimate distraction because it causes other things we like to call depression and anxiety. How are these things not considered to be linked to fear?
Have you ever asked yourself how you ended up in a depressive state so quickly?
We call it a disorder called “bi-polar disease". To me, this is another idea that's been made up to make you believe that you are crazy. It is simply an idea. It was omething you were taught when you were maybe young and that such a thing existed inside of your head.
This makes all ideas and symbols questionable. Even feelings will force your brain to hit the record button.
Try this exercise.
Consider for a moment that your brain is exactly like a tape recorder. You can operate the device with buttons, right? You can play, pause, fast forward and even rewind by its engineering design. You can swap out previously recorded tapes anytime you want to.
Without ever realizing it, you should know that you have always had the remote to your own brain.
So now that you are aware of this simple brain function, I want to introduce influence.
Influence can be known as outsider’s voices or own ideas. It could be one simple spoken word.
Or it could be the following directions I am about to give you.
I want you to think about a loved. I want you to think of what they look like and how much they may make you happy. Do this for in 15 seconds.
Commit to your 15 seconds and return to read.
Alright how was that? It must have made you really happy right?

You just experienced a voluntary brain response. It was just a simple command I had given you and you took action from just by reading the words I wrote to you.
We also have involuntary brain functions. We call these reflexes or disturbances aka distractions from our current projection. It could be anything that simply takes you by surprise. The ones that are most surprising/intense are the new experiences or memories that are created around us. Thus calling it 'an awakening.'
Let’s get back to the tape recorder idea. I want you to go back to one of your favorite memories. It could be something you did for yourself or even something that had to do with friends. Think about that experience and how it made you feel.
Think about that for as long as you would like and then come back to read.
Are you keeping track of your emotions? Are you understanding that you are THAT easily influenced to think a certain way? Your brain will literally develop whatever kind of emotion you are intentionally thinking.
Training your brain to think a specific way isn’t as hard as you think it might be.
I began this article by stating that brain management is hard work. Yet you finished an actual brain exercise even telling you that managing your emotions is hard work. Go back to beginning I first stated this with (*).
How many of you used the symbol '(*)' to pinpoint the location of this twist?
If your memory didn't serve you well enough, then your limbic system may be malnourished.
Though, I want you to know that you are in control. You do have the ability to overcome and take hold of the remote control to your brain.
You have the ability to shut fear off.
To me, this requires you to eliminate the social triggers. Being able to identify what triggers your emotions is self taught.

You must be able to think logically about how something makes you feel. Be honest with yourself when you consider what is right and what is wrong for you. Then depart from the emotion if you consciously know it is wrong for you.
We have failed to educate how our brains functions with one another.
We have failed to teach one another how we have the human ability to control our emotions.
Like anything, imagine you can do it though. All it takes is visualizing that you can.
These are the steps that I personally did for myself that helps make this visualization become reality.
1. I took more breaks from social media.
2. I distanced myself from people that only said they missed me but wouldn't make the effort to see me.
3. I asked those that I hurt for forgiveness with sincere apologies.
4. I changed my diet. Less processed garbage and more fruits and vegatables.
5. I started exercising again.
7. I began using a journal to track my thoughts and ideas.
8. I started looking for ways to provide a helping hand. Even to those that weren't asking.
9. Being nice even in the worst of situations.
10. Reading more often and started playing problem solving games like puzzles and word games.
11. I took more time to myself. More 'me' time.

I believe all of these things have humbled myself more. I feel it has helped me gain more control.I want you to have control as well.
There is a way to break free from a depressive state and you hold the keys.
I would like to add an exercise.
If you are a victim to “anxiety disorder” or have ever experienced an anxiety attack,
please consider doing this exercise:
1. Breath deeply in through your nose and our through your mouth.
2. Slowly look around you and find 5 things you can see.
3. Slowly look around you and find 4 things you can touch.
4. Slowly look around you and find three things you can hear.
5. Slowly look around you and find 2 things you can smell.
6. Slowly look around you and find 1 emotion you feel.
If you did just participate in this exercise, you can probably feel a good sense of awareness and even feel more at ease.
This technique is used to bring yourself back in line with your brain. It brings you back to realization. All things are made up in your head. You have the ability to choose which direction your mind goes. It just takes practice.
Please remember to use this exercise in time of need.
Be kind to your thoughts. Be kind to your memories. You memories hold the keys.
Don’t be a slave to your emotions.
Theoretically speaking, you can choose to live in Heaven or Hell. The choice is yours. Just like you chose to see an image of yourself pouring that cup of coffee at the beginning of this blog.
Your emotions, what you feel, is just a reaction to what you see, touch, hear or smell. I encourage you to surround yourself with loving things if you want to get away from a depressive state.
See the good in any situation. Live every day like it is your last. Chase your higher consciousness, or third eye, or whatever.
You have the power.
I know I choose happiness. I hope you do too.
A simple act of kindness to one person can spread to millions - the ripple effect.
