"Could I speak to the drug dealer of the house please?" - Arnold Schwarzenegger
I believe we can all say that when things begin to spiral out of control, its because our minds drift into lower depressive states and we begin manifest that we are not good enough.
We lose grip on reality and fall deeply into a slower moving space that we can't seem to escape, and it can kill us.
I produced this idea as I've come to realization that there is a simple math equation that not everyone thinks about when we consider our gut health. It's said out loud usually, or is that resting voice in the back of your mind.

Do you actually know what is and what is not bad for you?
Arnold Schwarzenegger has pitched many of his own ideas on philosophy and how to overcome your adversities. He is an icon to several, as well as a mentor for those in the bodybuilding community.
This is not a blog about bodybuilding.
This is a blog about you fighting for your life.

I want to list some things that need to be brought to your attention.
Have you ever invested your time and energy into a 'diet' before?
Personally, I don't believe in so called 'diets' anymore.
I believe that you you need to pay attention to what you are putting in your body.
The human body is a vessel. It is what carries you as far as you are wiling to let it. You determine wether you live for 30, 40 or 100 years old.
So why would you not consider to educate yourself on food? Why would you not consider the dangers of what you might be doing to your body and your mental health?
This might be opening up a pretty big can of worms for you. Food is the hardest and utmost journey journey in each and every single one of our lives. Yet, you must face it. You have to get over the worlds worst addiction in the planet.
Food.

When Arnold said "Can I speak to the drug dealer of the house,"it really dawned on me that you really could be the dealer, in any home. Drugs are bad, right?
Whoever is the head of the home, purchases the food and monitors the health of themselves and their loved ones. Some put more attention to health more than others of course, but not everyone.
So I will get to the point.
Here are some harmful drugs you might be prescribing yourself.

Why would you consume foods that contain Sodium Nitrate?
Sodium Nitrate is the #1 most toxic food additive.
It is used to cure meats and is added to several canned and jared goods and even foods like bread. This nitrate, one of many, is linked to cancer, ergo, linked to several diseases and many mental health problems like anxiety and depression.

Why would you consume beverages that contain High Fructose Corn Syrup?
This syrup is is #24 on the list.
High Fructose Corn syrup is used in many soft drinks and is one of the nations most consumed sweetener. The syrup is linked to driving inflammation towards heart disease, diabetes and obesity, (hormone imbalance.)

Why would you consume foods such as Red Color #40 (Allura Red)?
You guessed it. Red #40 is number 35 on the chart.
Allura red was listed an a carcinogenic by the US Health department. It contains a chemical called benzidine. Benzidine, which is used in sever products...beverages and foods of all kinds, is linked to infertility (hormone imbalance), and unhealthy hyperactivity in the brain which is closely tied to Alzheimers.

Consider you consume enough of these drugs over time, what might you develop?
Cancer should run across your mind.
Your body over time will slowly break down over time which ultimately has you ending up at the doctors office.
You wind up getting prescribed something for your illness and developing cancer.
Little do you know, ALL three ingredients I listed above also have been linked to the many mental health disorders such as hormone alteration; depression, anxiety and even paranoia.
When you think of hormone imbalance, you should be thinking brain health.Your brain is the motherboard of your body. Once it begins to operate with toxic ingredients (drugs), the rest of you will begin to deteriorate, or 'fall apart.'

You sink into depression because you are malnourished and your body is being fueled by toxic ingredients.
Let's take hypothyroidism for example.
Hypothyroidism is a condition where your thyroid is not producing enough hormones for your body to operate correctly. When you have hypothyroidism, it is a sign that you are at risk for severe consequences.
Your thyroid is linked to your metabolism, reproductive hormones and your immune system. So basically your entire body benefits from the hormones that is generated to keep you alive.
Chemicals like sodium nitrate, high fructose corn syrup and Red dye #40, are linked to hypothyroidism. Shocker.
The chemicals I listed are only three of several that are carcinogenic to your body.

Are you concerned? I hope so. If you're not, you will just be another tagged dead body.
Now comes the next part you need to know.
You need to know how combat the harmful side effects of hypothyroidism, right? Because you want to live.
You now need to be educated on how to treat your hypothyroidism, or other developed health conditions.
Have you even opened your eyes to the fact that those with developing even heart disease are mandated a healthy diet due to a stroke or heart attack? It's because, said person is obviously dying. So blindly, you are being told that food is the the cure to cancer.

Physicians and even specialists are paid to prescribe and most not educate you well enough on the drugs he or she is about to provide you. You end up buying into all of it. The drugs you are prescribed only kills you faster if you decide not to change your eating habits.
The internet is a powerful tool we don't use enough. There are plenty of free resources available online that are only just a few clicks away.
It starts with, "foods that fight cancer" or "blueberry benefits." Punch those in google and find the results instantly.
Google "foods that help hypothyroidism" and see what populates.

You are guaranteed to find accredited sources that can provide both nutritional values, and how certain foods that benefit specific organs and other tissues in the body.
It's not hard.
You have the best available resource available to you that you may not be using to your best advantage.
Many professors, phyisologists and scientists have worked for years to be able to provide you with this infromatiion. Use it.
If you are currently experiencing severe health conditions, poor mental health especially, please ask yourself this.
"Who is the drug dealer of my home?"
It is most likely you.
Be more health conscious. What ever you decide to put in your body, you will see the results.
